My experience with Old City Design Studio was fantastic.  Now I understand what a difference a skilled and creative architect can make, not just in design, but in providing a full range of complementary services to ensure that the design is well-executed.  Joe guided me through each and every step of a major kitchen and first floor renovation of my Capitol Hill townhouse. His creative design ideas dramatically transformed a cramped space into one that was open and airy -- while staying true to the distinctive historical elements of the house. Joe handled the permitting process and helped me navigate the selection of a contractor. He stayed on top of the construction process from start to finish, working closely with the contractor to make sure that the many practical questions that arose throughout the job were handled properly.  Joe advised me on the selection of appliances, tile, countertops, flooring, paint colors, and all the other design choices that helped to tie the renovation together - even furniture and artwork.  I am beyond pleased with the result and plan to use Old City Design Studio for my next project.
